Training Policies
国产黄污福利 Institute鈥檚 policies support educators鈥 professional development, help ensure the best possible learning environment, and define the delivery of course credit. Some policy items below cover all 国产黄污福利 Institute (TSI) courses and training; some are unique to participants who reside in Minnesota.
Refunds or Transfers
All course registrations are final. We are unable to offer refunds or transfers for any 国产黄污福利 Institute course, so please carefully review the course information before you purchase.
Proof of Training Attendance Policy for Non-Minnesota Residents
A certificate of participation is provided to learners not residing in Minnesota who have attended and participated in professional development training events.
Certificates of participation act only as proof of attendance and/or completion and are not guaranteed to qualify for clock hour credit in any state outside of Minnesota.
CEUs or Continuing Education Units
CEUs (Continuing Education Units) will be awarded for any eLearning course that is completed before its expiration date and when the learner鈥檚 post-test quiz score is 80% or higher.
Certificates are not issued to learners for any eLearning course in which they do not meet the CEU requirements. The CEU standard of measurement as 1 CEU = 10 contact hours. A two-hour course would only earn .2 CEU (not 2 CEUs). 国产黄污福利 is accredited by (International Accreditation for Continuing Education and Training).
For MN Participants Only 鈥 Instructor-Led Trainings (ILTs)聽
- Registration for Online Instructor-Led Trainings closes seven days prior to the session date. No late registrations are accepted.
- Each participant must register individually and be prepared to join the ILT on their own electronic device.
- Each participant receives an email prior to the upcoming ILT session that reminds them to log-in to the 国产黄污福利 Institute Learning Center to join the scheduled ILT.
- Participants will join their ILT session through the 国产黄污福利 Institute Learning Center. Clicking the 鈥淛oin鈥 button opens Zoom in another browser window. Participants must have access to a device that meets the requirements to join a Zoom training. Please review鈥.
- Participants are highly encouraged to join the ILT using video and audio from a quiet setting. This will make for a more engaging, calm, and attentive learning experience not only for the individual but for all participants. For safety, and full participation, participants are not permitted to join an ILT while driving.
- ILTs may be recorded for internal quality purposes but will not be made available to participants, or the public, for later viewing.
- If an ILT fails to enroll a minimum of five participants, it will be canceled and participants will be notified no later than one day prior to the session.
- If an ILT cancels for any reason, 国产黄污福利 Institute will notify participants as soon as possible and refund the full training fee.
For MN Participants Only 鈥 Develop Learning Record Training Hours聽聽
- Verified training hours are recorded on an individual鈥檚 Develop Learning Record for participants in Minnesota. Training hours will not be verified for participants who miss more than 15 minutes of the training event.
- Training hours will be granted to participants who are evaluated against predetermined standards for knowledge, skills, or competencies per Develop requirements.
- After training ends, please allow three business days for credit to appear on the Develop Learning Record.
